Federation Welcomes New Leadership

The Jewish Community Federation of Greater Rochester has announced new volunteer leadership beginning July 2009. Richard L. Goldstein, President of Mapco Auto Parks, has been elected to a two-year term as President.

Community Baseball Game, August 2nd

Families! Singles! Couples! Seniors! Baseball is for everyone... so put Sunday, August 2nd on your calendar and be sure to attend our annual Jewish Community baseball bash at Frontier Field! The festivities will begin at 4:15 PM with a (kosher) picnic supper, games for kids, pitching machine and more. The game begins at 6:05.

UJC/Jewish Federations of North America supports the Ronald S. Lauder Foundation/JDC International Camp in Szarvas, Hungary. The camp hosts some 2,000 Jewish campers and counselors from more than 20 countries and is an informal Jewish educational venue for children from around the Jewish world, helping to nurture a generation of future leaders.
